Proof I am enlightened. I've made the list :-) There is now a list of Controversial 'Buddhist' Teachers & Groupsviewonbuddhism.org/controversy-controversial-teacher-group-center-questionable.html I and my organization, the Great Western Vehicle (GWV) are listed. My crime is "Self-ordained monk" and the lack of modesty for having the audacity to do so. Apparently, Chogyam Trungpa is not even listed, even though he was an outrageous alcoholic, drug addict and sexual addict. We can conclude that self-empowerment is the greatest crime in Buddhism today. And, proof Buddhism is dead. Those who signed the list of "Controversial 'Buddhist' Teachers & Groups" were: the Dalai Lama, Fred von Allmen, Brendan Lee Kennedy, Ven. Ajahn Amaro, Bodhin Kjolhede Sensei, Jack Kornfield, Martine Batchelor, Dharmachari Kulananda, Stephen Batchelor, Jakusho Bill Kwong Roshi, Alex Berzin, Lama Namgyal (Daniel Boschero), Ven. Thubten Chodron (Cherry Greene), Ven. Tenzin Palmo, Lama Drupgyu Crony Chapman), Ven. Thubten Pende (James Dougherty), Lopon Claude aEsnee, Lama Surya Das (Jeffrey Miller), Edie Irwin, Robert Thurman, Junpo Sensei (Denis Kelly), Sylvia Wetzel. I guess we now have proof none of them are enlightened.

Even Buddhism feels the need to divide and conquer, and to quell dissenting viewpoints by attacking the messenger instead of the message. Organized religion tends toward corruption, unfortunately.

Michael "Organized religion tends toward corruption..." I agree with you there Michael. However, there is more to the story. Controversial 'Buddhist' Teachers & Groups If self-ordination and self-empowerment were the highest crime in Buddhism, then Siddhartha Gautama and Bodhidharma would have to head the list, because both of them were self-ordained and self-empowered. Thubten Pende (James Dougherty), Lopon Claude aEsnee, Lama Surya Das (Jeffrey Miller), Edie Irwin, Robert Thurman, Junpo Sensei (Denis Kelly), Sylvia Wetzel. I guess we now have proof none of them are enlightened. However, that was in March 16-19, 1993. Since most of the people on the list of “Controversial 'Buddhist' Teachers & Groups” were not even on the radar then, we can conclude whoever made up this list should be at the top of the list, for implying the above names had anything at all to do with his list. The source of this list appears to be Rudy Harderwijk. Why he did not think Chogyam Trungpa should be on the list only reveals his narrow agenda. The list of "Controversial 'Buddhist' Teachers & Groups" is here Last updated: August 25, 2011 viewonbuddhism.org/controversy-controversial-teacher-group-center-questionable.htmlApparently E-Sangha was taken down by Yahoo for slander for making such a list. Here is a link to the controversy: esanghalert.wordpress.com/category/controversial-website/

When others tell something wrong with you, you should look inside, introspect yourself first before pointing on someone else.
Your main crime is "Misleading people". If you still remember my comments on your Youtube video, you know what I mean.

theunbinder, when you do not value the contemplative attainments of others you "kill" Buddhism.
